Legacy Dental of Apopka is led by Dr. Thayssa Rodrigues, a Florida-raised dentist known for her warm, approachable style and dedication to patient-centered care. Inspired by her own experience with hypodontia and the life-changing impact dentistry had on her confidence, Dr. Thayssa pursued a career focused on helping patients feel heard, informed, and comfortable. She earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from Florida Atlantic University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Maryland, and is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, allowing her to connect more deeply with a diverse patient community.

As a family-owned practice rooted in integrity and personalized care, Legacy Dental is built on honest communication, modern dentistry, and long-term relationships with patients throughout Apopka. Dr. Allan earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where he received advanced training in modern, evidence-based dentistry. He focuses on delivering efficient, long-lasting results using the latest dental technology and techniques, with an emphasis on preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry.

As part of a family-owned dental practice in Apopka, Dr. Allan shares in the mission of building long-term relationships through honesty, transparency, and personalized care. Dr Rodrigues and her team at Legacy dental are great. I went for a checkup and cleaning and required some fillings. They took the time to thoroughly explain all the procedures I had and were extremely considerate with their pain management. After several bad experiences elsewhere I'm happy to have them as my dentist and would highly reccomend them to anyone looking for great dental care. They also were very clear with costs of the procedures and it never felt like I was being pressured into uncesssry treatments. I can't wait to see them again!
